My research primarily focuses on using bio/polymers to study coacervation and gelation. I examine the interplay between different biomacromolecules under distinct physical conditions, including the study of phase transitions, self-assembly, and the evolution of microstructure domains. Additionally, I have concentrated on surfactants, colloids, protein nanoparticles, and the synthesis of biocompatible quantum dots for the development of hydrogels, nanocomposite fluorescent gels, and complex coacervates. These materials find applications in bioimaging of cells, electrochemical sensing, encapsulation of hydrophobic molecules, film production, and device fabrication.
